I desperately require the cricket bat and ball cupcake recipe. I have to do something along the same lines for my brother -in- law’s 50th birthday party.

Hi Julie. You can use any good vanilla or chocolate cupcake recipe depending on what flavour your brother-in-law likes to make your cupcakes. The cricket bats and balls I purchased as ready made decorations from a shop called Kadees in Fourways. These decorations or similar ones may also be available in other baking stores. For the grass I used a green icing and a grass nozzle (a piping nozzle with a few small holes in it). When you pipe the icing press gently onto your cupcake and then release to create the grass effect. Have fun baking your cupcakes!
