Cute little My Pony Cupcakes ordered by Nick for a friend who loves My Little Pony. Such a great idea as a surprise birthday gift!
Justin turned 18 recently and as he is a keen writer I made sugar paste J’s stamped with text and popped them onto an embossed disc. For the sugar paste pages I used a small page with text stamp and stamped with edible colouring onto white sugar paste. I cut out the pages and then left them to dry slightly wavy to give them some shape and character. I hope you enjoyed your 18th birthday Justin!

It is definitely wedding season with loads of requests for bridal shower cupcakes this summer. These pretty pastel pink and white flower cupcakes in a jar were the perfect addition to this beautiful table setting and bridal shower planned by Zanele. I love taking loads of photos of my client’s cupcakes before they are collected and it is seldom that I see them in action at the celebrations they were created for. Thank you Zanele for another order and for sending me such beautiful photos of your table setting at Blandford Manor with a cupcake gracing each place setting.
These cute Cupcakes in a Jar were especially ordered by Zanele for Khanyi. It was a great idea of Zanele’s to have each cupcake spell out a letter of Khanyi’s name. I piped vanilla buttercream into the bottom of each jar then added a red velvet cupcake topped with blue and red pearls, blossoms and an initial. These cupcakes were definitely Happiness in a Jar!

Eunice wanted to surprise her sister, Ruth, with cupcakes for her 50th Birthday as she was not going to be in South Africa to celebrate with her sister. I was so pleased that Eunice first took the time to call me from overseas and then followed through with a couple of emails with the ideas she had in mind for the cupcake toppers.
Ruth must be really fun as the cupcake toppers included flowers, coffee cups, chocolate bars, gym bags and skipping ropes, travelling bags, books, lipsticks, hiking boots, tents, sleeping bags and of course her bucket list.

For Rea’s 1st Birthday her mom, Welile, ordered this Hello Kitty Giant Cupcake Cake and Cupcakes. The colours were the traditional pink and white of the Hello Kitty we know and love. I iced the cupcakes in a soft pink buttercream and added sugar paste Hello Kittys and pink sugar pearls to the cupcakes. The cake was popped into a deep rose pink chocolate casing and then iced with buttercream rose swirls each encasing a tiny pink blossom. I am particularly proud of my sugar paste Hello Kitty with her bright pink embossed dress and pink sugar bow sitting proudly beside her Giant Cupcake Cake. I completed this special occasion cake for Rea by adding her name and a number 1 in yellow and then topped off the cake with a cute Hello Kitty bow. Thank you Welile for such a fun order for your daughter!
